City Leadership

The City of Carencro is governed by a mayor and five-member city council. Learn more about our dedicated leadership members. 

Council Meetings

Council meetings are open to all residents and are held monthly at City Hall. The meetings are available for live viewing.

City Budget

Budget reports are made available to the public via PDF downloads. Budget details available date back to 2023.

Sexual Harassment

Emergency

Carencro has dedicated Police and Fire departments, that are run by emergency members committed to keeping the community safe.

Civil Service Board

Carencro has a classified civil service system for its Police and Fire Departments. Meeting notices, agendas and minutes are available here.

Public Transit

We are proud to now offer public transportation for our citizens via Lafayette Transit Authority natural gas buses. Bus passes can be purchased at Carencro City Hall and discounts are available for senior citizens.
